How doorstep collection works
Three steps, about a minute of your time.
Bag it
Tie your trash in a sturdy bag. Bags must hold their contents during transport without ripping or leaking.
Set it out
Put your container by your front door during the pickup window. Stacking more than one bag? Place them one on top of the other inside the container.
Bring it back
Move the empty container inside by 9:00 a.m. the next morning. That's it.
Pickup nights and windows are set by your community. Check with your property manager for your schedule.

What goes in the bag
A few rules keep crews safe and collection on time.
- Tie every bag. No loose items.
- Double-bag pet waste.
- Wrap broken glass and sharp objects separately and tell us before pickup.
- Furniture, appliances, and large boxes are too big for doorstep collection. See Bulk and junk.
- Rinse containers and keep food out of the recycling.
- Use the bag type your community requires for recycling.
- Flatten cardboard boxes.
- When in doubt, leave it out. One wrong item can spoil a whole bag of recycling.
- Moving out, clearing a garage, or replacing furniture? We offer junk removal as a separate service.
- Request a quote with a description or photos of what needs to go.
- We tell you the price before we haul anything.

Holidays and weather
We publish a no-service holiday list for each community. If severe weather makes the roads or walkways unsafe, we may pause service and let your property manager know.
